WELCOME DAN JACKSON!

The Wenatchee Columbia Chorale is thrilled to announce that our Interim Director for the 2023-2024 season will be Dan Jackson.

We  are anticipating  a vibrant and exciting season under his exceptional leadership.

Dan Jackson M.M. is a local Wenatchee legend, having directed the choral programs at Wenatchee High School for 30 years.  

Under his leadership, they toured  in the US and Europe and achieved statewide and national awards for choral excellence and music theater productions. He recently coached the male acapella cast of the Music Theatre Wenatchee production  “All Is Calm”to rave reviews.  Dan is already bringing new ideas for exciting new music and expanded community involvement. He is also hoping to reach out to many of his former students who are in the area to join the Chorale and rediscover their love of singing and sharing great choral works with friends. He believes choral singing is soul-enriching and healing at a time which is increasingly isolating and polarized. Few things create a sense of community and connection than making music together.
